Busses unloading students at the Children's water festival.

We couldn’t do this without you!

As you know, water is a valuable resource that is becoming scarce. The intent of our festivals is to educate children about the importance of water in their daily lives – from climate and nature, to agriculture and drinking water. We expect 1,200 – fourth and fifth grade students and 150-plus volunteers from Adams, Weld, Larimer and Morgan Counties to attend each of the annual Children’s Water Festivals.

We appreciate your support.

Your sponsorship will provide a unique opportunity for children to participate in interactive water displays and presentations, as well as providing bus transportation to-and-from the festival for elementary schools with limited budgets. Students will attend multiple sessions throughout the day learning about all aspects of water.

With your support in 2023 we reached:

2111 students

88 teachers

27 schools

237 volunteers

We are grateful for the support from sponsors like you who have played a crucial roll in educating students on enviromental stewardship. Your commitment to the Children’s Water Festival has allowed us to reach over 32,000 students since the first festival in 1991. Last year nearly $7,000 was paid to Title I schools providing transportation to and from the festival.

By renewing your sponsorship in 2024 you will directly contribute to the success of building communities that have the knowledge to make informed decisions on lasting issues facing our watershed. By sponsoring the Children’s Water Festival you will directly contribute to providing students with the knowledge and understanding to make individual and everyday choices to protect and sustain our environment for future generations.
