GMS Committee
October 7, 2021
The meeting of the GMS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 3:22 P.M. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, by Frank Eckhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Vern Kammerzell and Frank Eckhardt. Committee member present via Zoom was Tom Brown. Committee members absent were Alan Axton and Chad Schafer. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William (Billy) Mihelich, Danyelle Hart, and Ruthanne Schaffer. No guests were present.
Danyelle reviewed the GMS Preliminary Budget for 2022.
The Committee reviewed possible augmentation well pipelines back to the river.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE PASTURE LEASE AT PIONEER RESERVOIR WITH JOHN LEONE.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE BURNCO WATER LEASE AGREEMENT FOR BERNHARDT AGGREGATE MINES.
Randy reviewed an inquiry from Sorin/DJWRP to store up to 200AF in a reservoir.
Randy discussed with the Committee the feasibility study for an educational center in the Fort Lupton area. There is a grant available for the study with a required match.
Chairman Frank Eckhardt adjourned the meeting at 5:08 P.M.
