Central’s 15-member Board of Directors are appointed for four-year terms by district court judges from Adams, Weld and Morgan Counties. Central’s Board places great importance on maintaining equal geographic representation across the District.

To be considered for appointment to the Board of Directors of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, the Groundwater Management Subdistrict, and the Well Augmentation Subdistrict you must meet the following requirements.

To be considered:

     1.) you must have resided within the District for at least one year,

     2.) must be the owner of real property within the District in Adams, Morgan or Weld Counties,

     3.) and must be knowledgeable in water matters.

Public notices of vacancies are published in the Brighton Standard Blade, The Greeley Tribune, and Fort Morgan Times at least 30 days prior to the deadline for applications. Notices for all Board of Director vacancies can also be found on this webpage.
