CCWCD Committee

April 2, 2019

The meeting of the CCWCD Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 11:18 A.M. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 by Don Rosenbrock at Central’s office at 3209 West 28th Street in Greeley. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock, Everett Kissler, Doug Dill and Jim Reasoner.  Committee member absent was Ralph Anders.  Staff present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich, and Ruthanne Schaffer.

Randy gave a review of the 2012 Bond Budget and gave an update regarding the remaining Bond funds and how they are allocated.

Randy went over the Walker Recharge Project status and the next planning steps.  Staff will be meeting with third parties to go over plans and agreements over the next week or two.

Adjourn and reconvene for lunch.

Staff is continuing to work with members on a possible recharge project off the Beeman Ditch.

Billy gave an update on the Dittmer Revised Recharge Easement.

Staff has been working with Hall-Irwin to design a spillway and rundown channel on Bernhardt Cell 3.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO PROCEED WITH THE HALL-IRWIN QUOTE TO BUILD THE SPILLWAY AND RUNDOWN CHANNEL ON BERNHARDT CELL THREE.

An update was given to the Committee regarding the purchase of the senior water rights.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO ENTER INTO THE CONTRACT FOR THE SENIOR WATER RIGHTS AS DISCUSSED IN COMMITTEE.

Randy reviewed the Chatfield Revised Project Costs sheet with the Committee and an update on the Project.

Discussion was held regarding the possibility of restructuring of the Committees.

Chairman Don Rosenbrock adjourned the meeting at 1:39 P.M.
