Public Information Committee
April 2, 2019
The meeting of the Public Information Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 10:35 A.M. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 by Don Rosenbrock at Central’s office at 3209 West 28th Street in Greeley. Committee members present were Everett Kissler, Doug Dill and Jim Reasoner. Central staff present were Randy Ray, Executive Director; and Tammy Rusch, Office Manager.
The meeting began with a review of the Public Information budgets set for 2019.
The committee reviewed the 2019 membership, sponsorships, and donations carried over from 2018.for 2019 as compared to 2018. The committee agreed to continue all donations, sponsorships and memberships as before.
Don led a discussion on the request for sponsorship from the Greeley Stampede. It was decided by the committee that the $7,500 sponsorship would be the best exposure for the district. Tammy will contact Justin Watada, the Greeley Stampede General Manager and ask when the deadline for sponsorship is. The committee will continue this discussion at the next meeting.
Tammy briefly went through the list of local events that CCWCD has participated in with a display table or booth.
Scheduling a fall public bus tour was the last item discussed. The committee is in favor of the tour. Staff will begin work on scheduling the tour.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 A.M.
