GMS Committee
February 4, 2022

The meeting of the GMS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, February 4, 2022, by Frank Eckhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Vern Kammerzell, Frank Eckhardt, and Chad Schafer. Committee member attending via Zoom was Alan Axton. Committee member absent was Tom Brown. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich and Lynn Kramer.

Billy reviewed the Jackson Lake Delivery Agreement.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE JACKSON LAKE DELIVERY AGREEMENT AS PRESENTED.

MOTION CARRIED WITH ALAN AXTON ABSTAINING

Randy updated the committee on the ACWWA/ECCV mediation and Billy discussed the augmentation agreements.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO EXECUTE THE ACWWA/ECCV AUGMENTATION AGREEMENTS.

Randy presented a request from LG Everist regarding their Water Allotment Contracts. The committee directed staff to continue negotiating.

Randy presented a quote from Boyer & Seeley for the Hokestra pump.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE BOYER & SEELEY QUOTE FOR THE HOKESTRA 5/6 COLUMN PUMP.

Randy presented the Pioneer Reservoir Phase 1 plan from Civil Resources. The board will have bids to review at the February board meeting.

Randy discussed the Western Equipment & Truck “Quonset Farm” recharge pond project.
Randy presented a draft of the Wiggins Walker IGA and Operating Agreement.

Randy reviewed a request from Westwater Consulting LLC to lease water from Koenig Reservoir.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE A LEASE WITH WESTWATER CONSULTING LLC.

Chairman Frank Eckhardt adjourned the meeting at 11:00 A.M.
