The meeting of the CCWCD Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 11:07 A.M. on Friday, January 4, 2019 by Don Rosenbrock at Central’s office at 3209 West 28th Street in Greeley. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock, Everett Kissler, Ralph Anders and Jim Reasoner.  Board member absent was Doug Dill.  Staff present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich, and Ruthanne Schaffer.

Randy gave an update on the Walker Recharge Project easements.  There was a large turnout for the pre-bid meeting held at the office this morning for the pipeline.

The Greeley Irrigation Company recharge agreement has expired, and staff is recommending renewing under the same terms.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO RENEW THE GIC RECHARGE EASEMENT WITH SAME TERM AND CONDITIONS AS BEFORE, EXCEPT IT WILL BE AN ANNUAL AGREEMENT THAT WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW UNLESS EITHER PARTY NOTIFIES THE OTHER AHEAD OF TIME.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE CER BYPASS AGREEMENTS TO USE OGILVY AND BIJOU BYPASSES FOR $15,000 BUY IN FEE PER STRUCTURE PLUS $25/ACRE FOOT RUNNING FEE ON PROJECTED ACRE FOOT AMOUNT NEEDED TO BE BYPASSED, ALL PRE-PAID BEFORE ANY WATER IS RUN.

William gave an update to the Committee that Aurora will have the new 10-year water lease approved by next week, the lease starts at the end of the current Aurora lease.

Chairman Don Rosenbrock adjourned the meeting at 11:45 A.M.
