January 4, 2023
The meeting of the Well Augmentation Subdistrict of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District Committee was called to order at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, by Committee Chairman David Bernhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were David Bernhardt, Randy Knutson and Gary Herman. Committee members absent were Steve Bruntz and Bret Schmidt. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich and Lynn Kramer.
Lynn presented a request from David Hunt.
MOVE TO RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY DAVID HUNT TO ADD THE E1/2 OF THE NE1/4 OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH, RANGE 66 WEST TO A CLASS D WATER ALLOTMENT CONTRACT CONTINGUENT UPON SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDING THE PARCEL IN THE CCWCD AND WAS BOUNDARIES.

The committee discussed the 2023 Orchard property Grazing Lease Agreement with Tim Peggram and the Walker property Grazing Lease with Joseph Hawkins.
MOVE TO RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE ORCHARD PROPERTY GRAZING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH TIM PEGGRAM FOR ONE YEAR.

MOVE TO RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE WALKER PROPERTY GRAZING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH JOSEPH HAWKINS.

Randy explained the Eckhardt lease on the Ewing Farm. The committee discussed the terms of the lease.
MOVE TO RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO LEASE THE EWING FARM TO ECKHARDT FARMS INC AT $175 PER IRRIGATED ACRE AND TENANT MAINTAIN ANY UNPLANTED ACRES.

Randy presented a request from Burnco for water leases.
Randy discussed several options for the Meining Farm.
Randy updated the committee on the Dittmer Recharge project.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:10 P.M.
