MINUTES OF THE
CENTRAL COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT
June 10, 2022
A special meeting of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W. 28th St. Greeley, Colorado. The meeting was called to order at 8:25 A.M., and the following Directors were present: Ralph Anders, President; Bret Schmidt, Treasurer; Frank Eckhardt, At Large; Randy Knutson; Steve Bruntz; Dave Bernhardt and Everett Kissler. Director attending via Zoom was Vern Kammerzell. Directors absent were Chad Schafer, Alan Axton, Tom Brown, Don Rosenbrock, Doug Dill and Gary Herman.
Others present were Randy Ray, Executive Director; William Mihelich, District Engineer and Lynn Kramer, Contracts Manager. Special guest was Brad Grasmick of Lawrence Custer Grasmick Jones & Donovan.
District Action
The board discussed a request from The Greenway Foundation to sponsor the 2022 Reception on the River.
MOVE TO SPONSOR THE 2022 RECEPTION ON THE RIVER WITH A $5000 DONATION TO THE GREENWAY FOUNDATION.

Randy Ray presented an Executive Summary and Feasibility Study for the project being considered on the Meining property.
MOVE TO APPLY FOR A FIVE MILLION DOLLAR US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION WATERSMART DROUGHT RESPONSE PROGRAM GRANT.

MOTION CARRIED WITH FRANK ECKHARDT VOTING NAY.
MOVE TO APPROVE THE RESOLUTION REGARDING AUTHORIZATION OF THE SUBMITTAL OF A US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION WATERSMART DROUGHT RESPONSE PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION.
