GMS Committee
June 3, 2020

The meeting of the GMS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 9:02 A.M. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 by Frank Eckhardt at Central’s office at 3209 West 28th Street in Greeley. Committee members present were Frank Eckhardt, Tom Brown and Vern Kammerzell. Alan Axton was present via Zoom. Committee members absent was Chad Schafer. Staff members present were Lynn Kramer, Ruthanne Schaffer, and William (Billy) Mihelich.

Staff gave an update on the Walker Recharge Project. Hydrostatic testing will begin on the upper end of the pipeline and the fiber optic line is being installed in the conduit buried along the pipeline. 6 of the 13 Walker wells have been drilled (except one) and now are being tested.

Discussion was held regarding the remaining shares of Chatfield and reviewed recently acquired water rights.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO PASS ON THE MCCLELLAN FARM PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY.

Staff gave an update on the Straight Property that was recently acquired by the District.

An update regarding negotiation with FRICO for usage of the Burlington bypass structure.

The Committee reviewed the updated GMS Projection scenarios and summaries.

Chairman Frank Eckhardt adjourned the meeting at 10:53A.M.
