WAS Committee
March 2, 2022
The meeting of the WAS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, by David Bernhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Gary Herman, Randall Knutson and David Bernhardt. Committee members absent were Bret Schmidt and Steve Bruntz. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich, and Lynn Kramer.
Billy presented the committee with a summary of the 2022 WAS quota.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO LEASE 500 ACRE FEET TO OXY FOR THE 2022-2023 IRRIGATION SEASON TO BE PUMPED FROM THE MAYER WELL.

RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO SET THE WAS QUOTA AT 50%.

A staff retreat was held February 17-18, 2022. Attendees were Randy Ray, Billy Mihelich, Brad Grasmick and Ed Armbruster. Billy and Randy reviewed what was discussed at the retreat.
Randy presented a proposal from J-2 Contracting regarding the Meining property. The committee directed staff to continue evaluating the gravel mining potential and relocation of the Western Mutual Ditch including costs.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:55 P.M.
