CCWCD Committee
May 3, 2022
The meeting of the CCWCD Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 11:06 A.M. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, by Committee Chairman Don Rosenbrock at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock, Everett Kissler, Doug Dill and Ralph Anders. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich, and Lynn Kramer.
Randy handed out a map of the Meining farm for the committee to review and presented a proposal from J2 Contracting for gravel pit mining.
Randy reviewed his April 26, 2022 memo to the committees regarding the GURA Pit.
Randy presented a request from Hall Irwin regarding augmentation for the Firestein Pit.
The Small Scale Water Efficiency Project grant application has been filed to purchase 150 FlowConnect meters. Randy discussed other grant opportunities and reaching out to our lobbyist for assistance.
Last month Tammy brought a donation request from the city of Fort Lupton for a Splash Park, the committee asked for additional information. Randy presented information Tammy received on the Fort Lupton Splash Park.
MOVE TO RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO DONATE $3000 TO THE FORT LUPTON SPLASH PARK.
MOTION: DOUG DILL
SECOND: RALPH ANDERS
MOTION CARRIED WITH EVERETT KISSLER VOTING NAY.
Meeting was adjourned at 1:25 P.M.
