WAS Committee
May 6, 2020
The meeting of the WAS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 1:09 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 by David Bernhardt at Central’s office at 3209 West 28th Street in Greeley. Committee members present were Randall Knutson, Bret Schmidt, and Gary Herman. David Bernhardt participated via phone conference. Committee member absent was Steve Bruntz. Staff members present were Randy Ray, Ruthanne Schaffer and William (Billy) Mihelich.
Randy gave an update on the Walker Recharge Project. All surface casings will arrive any day, then they will begin drilling the wells.
Easements and pipelines were discussed.
2020 Bond sale: Staff participated in a conference call with Standard & Poor’s along with representatives from Stifel Public Finance. Currently waiting for the rating score from S&P.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO INCREASE GARY HERMAN’S WAS CONTRACT #837 BY 45 ACRE FEET OF CU FOR USE OF HIS RECHARGE POND FOR THE PVIC GROUP / ANADARKO DEAL THROUGH THE 2021 IRRIGATION SEASON.

Randy gave an update on Chatfield Reservoir.
