CCWCD Committee
October 4, 2022
The meeting of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District Committee was called to order at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, by Committee Chairman Don Rosenbrock at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock, Everett Kissler and Doug Dill. Absent was Ralph Anders. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich, Chris Stewart, and Lynn Kramer.
The committee began by asking Danyelle Hart questions regarding the progress of the 2022 audit. Danyelle then reviewed the 2023 Budget.
Tammy Rusch reviewed the additions and adjustments made to the 2023 Education Budget.
Randy explained a proposal from Hall Irwin regarding a swap of Whitney shares in exchange for gravel pit augmentation. Randy and Billy met with Hall Irwin and discussed a counter proposal, Hall Irwin did not accept.
Billy updated the committee regarding the SunCor easement on the Meining property.
Randy discussed an idea for fallow leasing in 2023.
Billy explained a request made by the Poudre Heritage Alliance for letters of support regarding the legislative reauthorization of the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area.
Meeting was adjourned at 1:25 P.M.
