CCWCD Committee
October 6, 2020
The meeting of the CCWCD Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 11:08 A.M. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 by Don Rosenbrock at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock and Ralph Anders. Committee member attending via Zoom conference was Everett Kissler. Committee member absent were Doug Dill and Jim Reasoner. Staff present were Randy Ray, William (Billy) Mihelich and Ruthanne Schaffer. Guest present was Nick Wirsching.
Nick Wirsching spoke with the Committee as a follow up from his presentation at the September Board’s meeting regarding creating a water park at Rinn Valley Reservoir.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO CONTINUE TO WORK ON A CONTRACT FOR THE RINN VALLEY RECREATION PROJECT.

The Committee reviewed the preliminary 2021 budget.
Adjourned for lunch and reconvened.
Staff and consultants have been meeting with FRICO regarding the Rural Land Recharge Project and getting an agreement to use the Burlington Bypass. Staff has sent over a redlined version of the agreement and we are awaiting a response.
Staff is looking at drilling 10 new monitoring wells for the Water Quality Program.
An Ag Taskforce has been created and will be presenting on October 13th regarding Reg 85.
Staff has requested Walker Project 3B Bids and they are due Friday, October 16th and will be opened at the October 20th Board meeting.
Staff is working on the Kissler Recharge Project and will meet with the Western Ditch Company to review the plans.
Chairman Don Rosenbrock adjourned the meeting at 1:20 P.M.
