GMS Committee
October 7, 2020
The meeting of the GMS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 9:03 A.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 by Vern Kammerzell at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Vern Kammerzell and Chad Schafer. Committee members present via Zoom was Alan Axton. Committee members absent were Tom Brown and Frank Eckhardt. Staff members present were Randy Ray, Ruthanne Schaffer, William (Billy) Mihelich, and Danyelle McCannon. No guests were present.
Danyelle reviewed the preliminary budget for 2021.
Billy gave an update on the sale of the Straight Farm. Discussion was held regarding the terms in the dry up covenant. The Committee gave staff direction to have legal counsel revise the agreement.
Ruthanne spoke to the Committee on the augmentation plans for the fall to spring operations. She is working on applying for the CWCB Drought Grant.
Staff gave an update to the McCrometer metering project.
Staff has requested Walker Project 3B Bids and they are due Friday before the Board meeting and they will be opened at the October Board meeting.
Staff is working with the landowner to get estimates and an agreement to build the Kissler Recharge Pond.
Chairman Vern Kammerzell adjourned the meeting at 11:02 A.M.
