WAS Committee
October 7, 2021
The meeting of the WAS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 1:31 P.M. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, by David Bernhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were David Bernhardt, Randall Knutson, and Gary Herman. Other Board member present was Everett Kissler. Board members absent were Bret Schmidt and Steve Bruntz. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William (Billy) Mihelich, Danyelle Hart, and Ruthanne Schaffer. No guests were present.
Danyelle reviewed the preliminary 2022 WAS Budget.
Randy discussed with the Committee the feasibility study for an educational center in the Fort Lupton area. There is a grant available for the study with a required match.
The Committee reviewed possible augmentation well pipelines back to the river.
Randy reviewed an inquiry from Sorin/DJWRP to store up to 200AF in a reservoir.
Chairman David Bernhardt adjourned the meeting at 3:07 P.M.
