CCWCD, GMS, and WAS Special Board Meeting
September 29, 2021
The combined special board meeting of CCWCD, GMS, and WAS was called to order at 10:01 A.M. on Wednesday September 29th, 2021 by President Ralph Anders. Board members present were: Ralph Anders, President; Bret Schmidt, Treasurer; Everett Kissler; Vern Kammerzell; Randy Knutson; and Don Rosenbrock. Board members joining via Zoom meeting were: Dave Bernhardt; Alan Axton, Steve Bruntz, and Doug Dill.
Others present were: Randy Ray, Executive Director; William Mihelich, District Engineer; Danyelle Hart, Financial Analyst; Lynn Kramer, Contracts Manager; and Alan Holmberg of Anderson & Whitney. Others joining via Zoom were: Brad Grasmick of Lawrence Custer Grasmick Jones & Donovan; and Jason Adams, Eric Miller and Kevin Kimball from The Adams Group.
Eric Miller from The Adams group reviewed the CCWCD financials which have a roll-in of GMS and WAS financials as component units.
MOVE TO APPROVE THE CCWCD, GMS, AND WAS AUDITS AS PRESENTED.

Alan Holmberg from Anderson & Whitney spoke to the Board about the 2020 audits, and the process to completion.
Randy Ray presented a revised proposal for infrastructure work at Hokestra.
MOVE TO APROVE THE DEERE & AULT REVISED PROPOSAL FOR HOKESTRA PONDS 5 & 6 FACILITIES.

Randy Ray spoke to the Board about a feasibility study for an education center.
MOVE TO SEND THE EDUCATION CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY BACK TO COMMITTEES IN OCTOBER.

MOTION CARRIED WITH STEVE BRUNTZ VOTING NAY
The meeting schedule for October committees will be: Thursday Oct 7th, 11:00 am CCWCD, 1:00 pm WAS, 2:30pm GMS.
Everett Kissler requested a follow up Walker Tour be scheduled.
