SOLAR Committee
October 18, 2022
The meeting of the Solar Committee was called to order at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, by Committee Chairman Bret Schmidt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Bret Schmidt, Everett Kissler, David Bernhardt, Ralph Anders and Gary Herman. Absent was Steve Bruntz.
Staff members present were Randy Ray, William Mihelich and Lynn Kramer. Also present was Brad Grasmick of Lawrence Custer Grasmick Jones & Donovan.
Director Schmidt updated the committee on a conversation he had with Adam Davenport from SunShare Community Solar. Mr. Davenport is working on a proposal for the committee.
The committee discussed options for the Rural Land and Meining parcels.
Brad advised the committee on terms of leases with solar companies and the value of the parcels.
The committee discussed exploring other energy companies to work with to develop solar gardens.
MOVE TO EXPLORE OPTIONS WITH OTHER ENERGY COMPANIES FOR A SOLAR GARDEN ON THE RURAL LAND PARCEL.
