WAS Committee
March 3, 2021
The meeting of the WAS Committee of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District was called to order at 1:05 P.M. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 by David Bernhardt at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee member present was Randall Knutson. Board members attending via zoom were Gary Herman and David Bernhardt. Board members absent were Bret Schmidt and Steve Bruntz. Staff members present were Randy Ray, William (Billy) Mihelich, and Ruthanne Schaffer. No guests were present.
Lynn presented adding the Long Meadow Farm well back into the WAS Plan.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE ADDITION OF THE LONG MEADOW FARM WELL BACK INTO THE WAS PLAN AT THE COST OF THE CONTRACT HOLDER.

Randy gave an update on the Chatfield Orphan Shares. CWCB will be meeting next week to discuss decrees, environmental pool filling, and what to do with the orphan shares.
RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD TO SET THE WAS QUOTA TO 65% FOR THE 2021 IRRIGATION SEASON.
