PRESENTERS & EXHIBITORS NEEDED!
You don’t need to be a professional educator
to be a great presenter!
The goal of The Children’s Water Festival is to allow students to dive deeper into water related issues that face the South Platte River Basin, where our food comes from and how to be better stewards of our natural resources.
Presenters teach the same lesson as students rotate to stations throughout the day.There are approximately 15 to 25 students in each rotation. Each rotation is 25 -minutes with a 10-minute prep time in between presentations. Breakfast and a catered lunch with drinks will be provided to all presenters and exhibitors.
We are looking for presenters & exhibitors that can provide a content-rich hands-on activity that correlates with today’s water issues and the history of water in the South Platte River Basin and across Colorado.

Central Colorado Water Conservancy District’s oldest and most continuous education program is the Children’s Water Festival. First presented in 1991, it is the second oldest water festival in the country. The Children’s Water Festival is a one-day FREE outdoor event bringing professionals from around the state to support 4th and 5th grade students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) while meeting science academic standards and Common Core State Standards.
